Branded short links in WordPress
URL Shortify PRO helps you create, manage, share, and track short links from your WordPress website. Short links can use your own domain, giving links a consistent appearance for websites, email, social media, advertisements, blogs, forums, instant messages, and other publications.
The plugin is designed for teams and site owners who want to organize branded links while reviewing how those links perform. You can shorten long addresses from services and websites such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn, then share the resulting links through the links dashboard or supported social options.
Link creation and control
Create short links with customizable settings and editable destination URLs. The default slug length is four characters, while the Pro edition lets you customize the slug character count. You can search for branded links with the built-in search tool and use a dashboard widget to display popular links in WordPress.
PRO also supports expired short links, which can be automatically turned off by the system, and password-protected links. Redirect options include 301, 302, and 307 redirects, as well as a Meta Refresh redirect. You can hide affiliate links to make them more visually appealing to visitors.
Analytics and click filtering
URL Shortify tracks hits on your short links and provides detailed reports about where clicks came from, including browser, operating system, and host information. Advanced link analysis adds metrics such as top countries, devices, and frequent times.
You can filter out known robot clicks, exclude specific IP addresses, and anonymize click data, including personal click data such as IP addresses. Click tracking can also be enabled or disabled. These controls help you choose how link activity is recorded and reviewed.
Domains, sharing, and QR codes
Alongside your main site, PRO supports short links through multiple custom domains. You can generate QR codes for branded links and share links with one click through services including Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Telegram, VKontakte, email, and Hacker News.
Access control lets you manage which roles can create and manage branded short links, groups, and settings. Integrations listed for the plugin include WooCommerce, Social Linkz, LifterLMS, Sassy Social Share, Easy Digital Downloads, The Events Calendar, Events Manager, WordPress Knowledgebase, and Modern Events Calendar.
Import, export, and site moves
The export and import tools move links, groups, tags, custom domains, UTM presets, tracking pixels, click history, and plugin settings between sites in a single file. You can preview what will be imported, choose how existing entries are handled, and create an automatic backup before anything is replaced. This supports staging-to-production workflows and site migrations.
