Advanced Contact Form 7 workflows
CF7 Mate Pro adds advanced form-building and management capabilities to the standard Contact Form 7 workflow. You continue creating, editing, and managing forms in the regular Contact Form 7 editor, while Pro adds tools for longer forms, more targeted interactions, submission storage, and administration.
The product works with Divi 4, Divi 5, the WordPress block editor, Elementor, and Bricks. It builds on the styling, extra field types, and grid layout capabilities available in CF7 Mate, then adds features intended for forms that need more than a simple email notification.
Features for more capable forms
- Multi-step forms: Divide a long form into a guided sequence of steps to make completion easier for visitors.
- Conditional logic: Show or hide individual fields and skip steps according to information entered by the visitor. Conditional logic works together with multi-step forms.
- Form entries: Save submissions in your own WordPress database, then view, search, and filter them from the administration area. Entries can also be exported as CSV.
- Form analytics: Review per-form views, submissions, and conversion rate. Analytics are stored locally without a third-party tracker.
- Form scheduling: Set a start and end date for a form and display a custom message when it is closed.
- Conditional email routing: Send notification emails to different recipients based on what a visitor selects or enters.
- Save and continue later: Allow visitors to resume longer forms from an email link.
- Style presets: Save a styled form as a reusable preset and apply it to other forms in one click.
Practical uses
CF7 Mate Pro is suited to agencies and freelancers creating branded client forms, service businesses collecting and organizing leads, and event organizers running registrations during a defined time window. Multi-step layouts can help structure detailed applications, quote requests, bookings, and surveys. Conditional logic can keep the experience relevant by revealing only the fields or steps that apply to each visitor.
Form Entries provides an alternative to relying only on notification email. Because submissions are stored in the site’s own WordPress database, administrators can search, filter, review, delete, or export entries from the WordPress administration area. Scheduling is useful for events, time-limited registrations, and seasonal offers, while conditional routing can direct sales and support inquiries to different recipients.
Agency presentation
The Agency plan includes white label capability. This lets agencies replace CF7 Mate branding with their own branding for client sites. The plan is presented as an edition of the same product rather than a separate form system.
Installation and setup
Install the CF7 Mate Pro plugin on a WordPress site that uses Contact Form 7, then activate it alongside the standard Contact Form 7 workflow. If the free CF7 Mate plugin is also active, it detects Pro and deactivates the free copy automatically while preserving settings, feature toggles, and form configurations.
After activation, continue managing forms through Contact Form 7 and use the Pro tools for entries, logic, steps, scheduling, routing, analytics, resume links, and reusable style presets. Configure each feature on the forms where it is needed.
