Display Instagram content across your website
Spotlight is a WordPress plugin for embedding Instagram feeds with a block, shortcode, or widget. The paid plans—Essentials, PRO, and Agency—build on the available feed tools with additional layouts, customization, content sources, commerce features, and analytics.
You can connect Instagram accounts and create multiple galleries for use on a single page, individual posts, widget areas, or across your website. Feeds can be reused in multiple locations or configured separately, and multiple Instagram accounts can be combined in one feed.
Essentials features
Spotlight Essentials includes everything in the free version, plus access to all templates and layouts, all customization options, Instagram Stories, and a dedicated Elementor widget.
Use pre-designed templates or create your own layout. Feed designs are responsive by default and can be customized for different devices. You can set the number of columns and posts, choose whether posts are ordered by date, popularity, or at random, and adjust the feed to fit your website’s design and fonts.
Spotlight supports photos, videos, reels, and gallery posts. A popup lightbox can show larger photos, reels, and videos, while feed headers can display an account avatar and bio. Button text for “Follow” and “Load more” can be customized and translated.
PRO content controls and commerce tools
Spotlight PRO includes the Essentials features and adds public Instagram hashtag feeds, tagged Instagram posts, and combined feeds using account, hashtag, and tagged sources.
Use keyword or phrase filters in captions and filter feeds by hashtags. The moderation tool lets you hand-select posts to show or hide, which is useful when a feed needs editorial control. PRO also adds Instagram link in bio pages for directing visitors from Instagram to your website.
For online stores, PRO provides shoppable Instagram feeds and WooCommerce integration. Posts can be linked to products so social content can support an eCommerce browsing journey.
Agency insights and media management
Spotlight Agency includes the features in Free, Essentials, and PRO. It adds Instagram account insights, Instagram post insights, feed engagement analytics, and feed promotion analytics. Google Analytics integration provides an additional connection for measurement.
Agency also includes media management for controlling image and video quality and storage. These tools are suited to workflows that require more oversight of published media and performance information across Instagram feeds.
