Bring evergreen content back into view
RevivePress Premium is a WordPress tool for republishing and cloning older posts and pages. It helps sites with substantial evergreen content place selected material back on the front page, at the top of archive pages, and in RSS feeds.
Republishing resets a post’s published date to the current date. This can help new visitors discover older material and can make selected posts appear fresh in date-based searches, feeds, and sharing workflows. Premium adds controls for individual posts, repeated republication, social sharing, notifications, custom content, and publication events.
Premium publishing controls
- Individual republishing: Republish a selected post, including repeated republication for that post.
- Custom schedules: Use date- and time-based republication, custom intervals, minimum intervals, randomness intervals, and custom date ranges.
- Custom titles: Set a custom title for each republication event.
- Content support: Republish custom post types and work with custom taxonomies.
- Social sharing: Automatically share republished content and use the one-click republish and social share action.
- Status controls: Change post status after republishing or after the final republication.
- Notifications: Send email notifications upon republishing and use OneSignal push notification support.
- History and planning: View republication history in logs, see upcoming single republications in a dashboard widget, and view republication information in an admin column.
Manage dates, URLs, and visibility
RevivePress Premium lets you change the post name or URL on every republication and hide the last original publication information from the frontend. WordPress Sticky Posts support provides another way to manage how republished content is presented.
The plugin also includes support for changing the original publication date display before or after the post. This gives site managers control over how the original date is shown while a republished item is presented as current content.
Cache, indexing, and multilingual workflows
Premium supports the Indexing API plugin and can purge site or single-post caches automatically. The source lists support for most cache plugins and hosting platforms, including W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, WP Rocket, WP Fastest Cache, LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize, Breeze, WP Engine, and others.
Full WPML and Polylang compatibility supports multilingual publishing workflows. The plugin also supports the Indexing API by Rank Math. These options can help administrators coordinate republication with indexing, caching, and translated content processes.
Installation and setup
Install RevivePress Premium through the WordPress administration area, then configure general republishing settings and select the posts or content types to manage. Define intervals, date ranges, title settings, social sharing, notifications, cache purging, and post-status behavior. Review the logs and dashboard widget to monitor completed and upcoming republication events.
