Make product discovery more useful
Smart WooCommerce Search PRO replaces or extends the standard WooCommerce search experience with real-time Ajax suggestions. Shoppers can see matching products with images, prices, and categories while they type, helping them move from a search query toward a product without waiting for a separate results page.
The search experience can appear in a fullscreen popup or through a custom search widget. It is designed for WooCommerce stores that need more control over how products are found, filtered, presented, and selected.
Search tools for product catalogs
PRO supports search across product information including SKUs, EANs, categories, tags, attributes, brands, custom fields, custom taxonomies, and custom post types. You can configure selected product categories, exclude products that are out of stock, and use multiple-word search. Stop words and a relevance configurator provide additional control over how queries are interpreted and ordered.
The plugin can build a dedicated search index and includes advanced caching support for Memcache and Redis. These tools are intended to support fast searching across larger product catalogs. Product results can use a grid layout, and product searches can render the standard WooCommerce product grid on the results page.
- Show “Did you mean” suggestions using keywords and synonyms.
- Review top search queries, no-result phrases, and most-clicked products with internal analytics.
- Display labels such as Featured, Sale, and Out of Stock badges.
- Use recent searches and fullscreen search presentation.
Help shoppers act from search results
The Product Variations Popup lets shoppers choose options such as size or color and add an item to the cart directly from the search popup. An Add to Cart button can also be displayed in search results, reducing the steps between finding a product and starting checkout.
Google Analytics integration is available through GA4, while multilingual compatibility includes WPML and Polylang. The plugin also lists compatibility with ACF, Custom Post Type UI, Ultimate WooCommerce Brands, and Search Exclude.
Storefront and page-builder integration
Use the plugin with default search widgets or create a custom search widget through the plugin settings. It supports Elementor, DIVI, WPBakery Page Builder, Visual Composer, and Avada. The search can be integrated into theme templates with the provided PHP approach, using the widget ID configured in the settings.
Additional customization and styling settings let you adapt the search presentation to your storefront. The plugin integrates with major themes, although minor CSS adjustments may be needed for an exact visual match.
