Build personalized WooCommerce product pages
Product Addons for WooCommerce Premium adds extra product options and custom fields to WooCommerce product pages. It is intended for stores that need customers to provide additional order information, choose personalized options, or submit files and design details with their purchases.
The plugin includes a drag-and-drop form builder for creating product option forms. Information entered by customers is shown in the website backend and included with the order details. This gives store owners a structured way to collect notes, dates, numbers, engraving text, color choices, and other specifications without relying on separate messages.
Premium options for custom products
The Premium version extends the basic field collection features with pricing options, file uploads, conditional logic, image selectors, color groups, logos, and images. These capabilities are useful for products that need more than a simple text note, including personalized merchandise, design services, printed items, and products that require customer artwork.
- Use pricing options to associate additional costs with selected product choices.
- Allow customers to upload images and files for personalized products.
- Show or hide fields based on values selected in other fields.
- Use image selectors and color groups to present visual choices.
- Add logos and images as part of the product option experience.
- Calculate pricing based on product dimensions using the supported Premium workflow.
Form fields and page organization
The builder supports text, number, radio, checkbox, select, textarea, date, color, hidden, password, email, URL, and separator fields. Date fields can use a custom date picker or the HTML5 default date picker. Email and URL fields include HTML5 validation for their respective formats.
Conditional fields help keep a product page focused by showing relevant options only when earlier selections require them. A two-column grid layout can organize fields, while paragraph content can add instructions using basic HTML such as links and bold text. These layout and content options help present a longer customization form in a more manageable way.
Practical WooCommerce use cases
Use the plugin to collect engraving text, customer notes, numbers, dates, color themes, print selections, logos, or uploaded artwork. A store selling customized products can combine radio buttons, checkboxes, image selectors, and conditional fields so customers can describe exactly what they want. Businesses offering design services can request files and additional instructions directly on the product page.
For dimension-based products, the Premium functionality can be used to calculate pricing based on dimensions. This supports product pages where size or measurements affect the final cost.
Installation and setup
Add the plugin to a WooCommerce site, create a form with the drag-and-drop builder, and assign it to the relevant product. Configure the fields, pricing choices, conditional rules, uploads, or visual selectors required for that product. Product option fields display only when the product is purchasable and has a price set; the source also notes that the product must be in stock. If fields appear twice or fail to display, the documented troubleshooting points to WooCommerce version, theme template, product assignment, price, and stock status.
