Advanced product filtering for WooCommerce
YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter Premium is designed to help customers narrow a WooCommerce catalog and find products according to the characteristics that matter to them. Store owners can create filter experiences based on categories, tags, product attributes, reviews, price, availability, and other catalog information.
The plugin uses presets to organize filters for different areas of a store. You can create a preset for the main shop, another for a product category, and additional presets for custom pages. Presets can be displayed on standard WooCommerce pages or on custom pages created with Gutenberg or Elementor.
Flexible layouts and filter presentation
Filters can be added with a widget, shortcode, or Gutenberg block. Available presentation styles include checkboxes, selects, text fields, color swatches, and label or image layouts. The Premium version adds bicolor and image support for color filters, along with the ability to upload icons, photos, and images to identify terms such as patterns, textures, or other product options.
You can choose the order of filter terms, display or hide term hierarchies, and allow multiple selections using AND or OR logic. Adaptive filtering can hide terms that are not available for the current selection. Filters may also be displayed as toggles that are open or collapsed by default, with optional tooltips shown when visitors hover over terms. The number of products associated with terms can be shown or hidden, and a custom loader can be used while results are being updated.
Commerce-focused filtering tools
- Filter products by price using a slider or price ranges, including a final range for a specified amount and above.
- Filter products by reviews and show products that are on sale or in stock.
- Sort displayed products with AJAX by rating, price, popularity, or latest products.
- Use instant AJAX filtering or add a button that lets visitors apply filters manually without AJAX.

- Use the plugin with the YITH WooCommerce Brands Add-on plugin.
Mobile and URL options
On mobile devices, filters can appear in a modal window designed for smartphones and tablets. You can also choose the position of the reset button and decide whether active filters, including an X control for removing them, appear above the products, above the filters, or below the filters.
Permalink management lets you keep URLs unchanged, add selected filtered terms, or use a custom shorter permalink. SEO settings allow you to activate or deactivate indexing of generated filter URLs in search engines.
Installation and setup
Install the Premium plugin in your WordPress site, then configure filter presets for the pages where they are needed. Add each preset with the available widget, shortcode, or Gutenberg block, and select the desired filter types, layouts, ordering, behavior, and mobile settings. If you previously used the plugin’s widgets, the source describes an automatic conversion tool for creating presets from an existing sidebar configuration.
